The Psaltery Players of Russia - performance

Concert for the Day of Istria 2019-09-07

September 7 in the Museum and exhibition complex of the Moscow region "New Jerusalem" was held a festive concert dedicated to the Day of Istria. The program was presented by the State orchestra "the gusli players of Russia". The conductor was the honored artists of Russia Maxim Yevtushenko and Yuri Pushkarev.

The concert was attended by the soloists of the Moscow Philharmonic society — winners of Russian and international competitions Maxim Sazhin (tenor) and Yulia Zhuravleva (folk vocals) and honoured artist of Moscow region Ivan Zubarev (tenor) and laureate of international competitions, laureate of the "National treasure of Russia" Olga Alekseeva (harp).

The artists presented the audience with a diverse music program. Sounded instrumental compositions by G. Sviridov, S. Rakhmaninov, original works for orchestra, folk songs, Russian romances, arias from operas by N. And. Rimsky-Korsakov, A. T. Grechaninov, And S. V. Rachmaninoff, A. N. Verstovsky.
