Songs of the war years: a concert in Serpukhov 2015-04-02

2 April 2015 in the Moscow suburb of Serpukhov, a concert of collective of the Moscow regional Philharmonic State orchestra "the gusli players of Russia". The 70th anniversary of Victory in the great Patriotic war, the orchestra presented a program "Songs of military years". The concert was held in the Palace of culture "Russia" with the support of the culture Department of the city of Serpukhov and the Serpukhov region.

There were popular songs of the war years. Music that inspired and consoled, cheered up and helped to survive all the hardships and privations of war. These melodies are familiar to everyone today: "Time in a way-road", "Rio Rita", "Where are you now, fellow" old-timey waltz "Amur waves" and many others. Was performed and musical symbols of Victory – "Farewell of Slav", "Bow to those great years" and, of course, the legendary song of David Tukhmanov's "Victory Day".

The hall was attended by the audience of all generations – children, their parents, war veterans. To the concert were invited the disabled people from Serpukhov rehabilitation centre "Meridian". Program "Songs of military years" was a great success. Spectators with pleasure echoed the actors received a standing ovation, gave a thunderous ovation. After the concert, the representatives of Department of culture of the city and district, as well as teachers of music schools of the city given the highest rating performance skills of artists.
