Performances dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the great Victory 2015-05-12

May 9, 2015, the Day of the 70th anniversary of the great Victory, with the success passed a concert of ensemble of the Moscow regional Philharmonic. The state orchestra "the gusli players of Russia" has acted at stadium "the Olympus" urban settlement hotkovo Sergiev Posad district.

Traditionally, on may 9, urban squares and parks held events attended by spectators of different age – children, their parents and the main characters of the holiday – veterans.

In the concert program sounded popular songs about the war and music of the war years: "Here the soldiers are coming", "Cranes", "On the Sunny polyanochke", "I was Traveling from Berlin," "let's smoke", "a Letter from the 45th", "ballad of a soldier". These melodies are familiar to everyone today. The audience gladly sang along to the artists, remembering the heroes of yore.

The orchestra performed instrumental songs: old-time waltz "Amur waves", "March" George Sviridov musical illustrations to A. S. Pushkin's story "Blizzard", "March of the Preobrazhensky regiment" and others. And, of course, the program was musical symbols of the holiday – "Farewell of Slav", "Bow to those great years" and the legendary song of David Tukhmanov's "Victory Day".
